Marriage equality passed tonight in the New York State legislature. I won't get into the politics and all that here (because I did HERE), but I found this picture which is worth far more than just a thousand words.
The number of GLBT couples now able to marry (if they choose) has just doubled thanks to NY joining the ranks of these other progressive states: MA, CT, VT, NH, IA, (D.C. - not technically a state I suppose).
