This morning, I was supposed to run a memorial 5k. This is something I have been training for for two weeks (since I'm not in the best of shape). Unfortunately, the run was not to be. Because of bad weather, it was canceled. Evening as I am writing this (near noon), it is so dark outside I have to turn a lamp on in order to see. The wind is blowing pretty badly. Rain is beating down on the roof. Thunder is rumbling in the distance.
To make this already miserable day even more miserable, I'm closing at work tonight, which means I won't be home before midnight. Super Saturday.
